I’m a big geek….
There, I have said it. People who know me, this comes as no surprise.
Professionally, I am a public health program director- specifically, chronic disease, disease prevention and health promotion. I work for Georgia Public Health’s Athens District office and cover 10 counties surrounding Athens. I have both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public health/health promotion from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).
Away from work (which I often have trouble actually getting away from!), I am pretty much a homebody right now. But I do get away sometimes and one of my greatest stress reducers is photography – specifically nature and landscape photography. You can see some of them on here (including the header image above) under the Photos tab. Doesn’t mean I don’t take photos of people – but mostly for friends and family, not really into the photo “biz” game.
